    Company Description Job Description This job is located at our APAC Home Office in Shanghai, China. What Will You Be Doing? Owner of planning organization across APAC for a single brand: Abercrombie or Hollister Co Develop regional volume, inventory, and SKU count targets for all departments within relevant brand and gender to meet financial targets Develop assortment framework for key departments, focusing on crucial items to spark growth and connect with Asian customers (assuming 10-20% of SKU's will be region specific) Collaborate with Buying Team to lead seasonal financial workshops and line reviews, highlighting high level strategies and the financial "story" for the season from a regional perspective. Represent APAC in global seasonal meetings. Partner with NA Promo and local resources to execute in-season promo / pricing changes as needed, within guidelines set out by the Home Office Partner with SH Operations Team to ensure DTC channels are sufficiently inventoried including but not limited to the financial forecasting, weekly pricing and promotional activities and hind sighting. Present weekly updates as part of a regular Monday Business review process Identify strengths / opportunities / recommended actions for key categories across regions Share results with regional organization and with key stakeholders at the Home Office Lead monthly MPC forecasts to identify risks/opportunities to financial and inventory plans. Review forecast against financial targets. Manage reconciliation of brand targets with bottoms up plans. Oversee team for in-season product re-trends of key items to influence deployment strategies. Interface with promo, marketing, etc. to develop recommendations and provide inventory guidance Following each season, execute a detailed hindsight / strategic line review process at the gender level (and department level, for key departments) to inform future strategy and measure year-on-year progress Interface remotely with Home Office teams on a regular basis, carrying out consistent updates and communicating effectively on a day-to-day basis Lead a team of Gender Planners and Item Planners. Coach and train direct reports to foster rapid skill development, identify strengths, and improve performance. What Do You Need To Bring? Bachelor's degree or University undergraduate equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics or related field required At least 8 years of merchandising, planning, buying or equivalent experience in a corporate retail environment preferred Analytically driven with proven critical thinking & problem-solving abilities Clear knowledge of target customers and product trends Excellent communication, presentation, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to identify and set priorities.     Role & Responsibilities: Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position): The Business Process Manager - Planning and Product Merchandising, based in Asia , drives the transformation of Channel (DTC, DTP) commercial planning and product master data management processes within the S/4 Business Transformation program. Collaborating with the Business Process Owner (BPO), commercial teams, and the PMO, this role designs and optimizes SAP S/4HANA processes for APAC, ensures seamless integration with the regional channel commercial planning capability, ensures accurate data migration, and drives adoption. Key Result Areas: Process Design & Implementation: Define detailed processes (L4-L6) for Channel demand planning, inventory segmentation, allocation, replenishment, and product master data management in S/4HANA. Data Conversion & Migration: Collaborate with (Product Merchandise and Planning) teams to migrate product master and planning data (e.g., SKU attributes, forecast data) into S/4HANA and other related applications accurately. Training, Testing & Cutover: Develop training materials, support user acceptance testing, and execute cutover plans for APAC deployment. Process Integration and Optimization: Leverage S/4HANA, Aptean, AP2 and tools like PowerBI to streamline go-to-market (GTM) activities, product analytics and transparency. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Brand Product Merchandising and Planning teams, supply chain and the S/4 program, addressing process gaps and aligning solutions with business needs. Competency Requirements : Leadership & communication skills Strong leadership to guide commercial teams through process and system changes. Excellent communication to align technical, business, and operations stakeholders. Proactive and solution-oriented, with a focus on delivering compliant outcomes. Organizational transformation skills Familiar with merchandizing, assortment planning, or replenishment and allocation processes. Ability to document and implement detailed process flows (L4-L6). Experience supporting product merchandizing & planning teams in a transformation context. Domain knowledge Deep understanding of management reporting (e.g., gross-to-net analysis), pricing, costing, and rebate management processes. Technology awareness Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, and / or Planning technology such as Aptean, O9 or Blue Yonder. Functional Competencies Strong analytical skills. Expertise in integrating planning requirements into ERP processes. Experience 6+ years in fashion retail with 3+ years focused on merchandizing planning, replenishment and allocation. (SAP S/4HANA or ECC preferred). Proven success in designing and implementing DTC planning and merch processes during large-scale transformations. Experience with cross-functional collaboration on data migration and training. Academic Qualifications Minimum: Degree holder in related field; MBA is a plus.
