Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, including Tailwind CSS. Mentor junior developers and share best practices. Contribute to improving development processes and workflows. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in web development. Expertise in frontend development using JavaScript/TypeSscript, React (with Next.js) and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS. Strong experience with either Python (with framework like FastAPI) or PHP (with framework like Laravel or Symfony). Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery). Familiarity with RESTful API design and development. Understanding of web security best practices. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent English communication and collaboration skills; Chinese language proficiency is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). This role will be focused on technical projects in a fast-paced environment including rotationally molded products and beyond while pushing the envelope of what is possible for best manufacturing process, product cost, and product performance. Responsibilities: Sustain, improve, and validate the manufacturing processes for YETI products that meet quality, capacity, capability, and cost requirements by making data-driven decisions and collaborating across departments Collect, record, and transcribe data and transfer these results into reports to accurately convey all key elements of the manufacturing process and its performance against target Work with equipment designers and suppliers to develop innovative, cost-effective, capable and repeatable production processes and oversee the implementation process including process layout. Must also be the technical subject matter expert for said equipment. The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in the product lifecycle by owning the qualification of the manufacturing process to the required technical specifications, efficiency, and quality. This individual participates in the specification review, engineering build (EB), manufacturing build (MB), pilot production (PP) process, partnering with manufacture partners, YETI design engineers, quality engineers to create process validation plan (PVP), production part approval process (PPAP), and working with engineering, operations, test lab, and category management to ensure that manufacturing process are fully validated and ready for mass production. Responsibilities: Part of the YETI's Manufacturing Engineering Team to review drawing, product specification, work with manufacture partners for production feasibility. Review production process flow and assess PFMEA document. Work with validation engineer on DVP&R (design validation plan and report). Create PVP to validate process capability and stability. Oversee and document different stages of trial runs per the qualification processes. Oversee and document Engineering build, develop a robust production flow and meet DVP requirement. Oversee and document Manufacturing build, run products in mass production condition and meet PVP requirement, identify keep process parameters window and documenting. Collaborate with quality engineer for PPAP approval and sign PSA (Production Start Approval) from ME aspect. Work with manufacturing partners and YETI internal partners at production ramp up phase, deliver products at right time, and right quality. Solve manufacturing process issues at product lifecycle period. Qualifications and Attributes: Bachelor's degree in engineering. At least 5 years of manufacturing qualification, production development mechanical design experience, project management or quality experience is a plus. Knowledge of metal manufacturing process, aluminum and stainless steel is preferred. Knowledge of plastics injection. Knowledge of the different finishes, especially on the power coating, anodizing and electronics polishing etc. Must be able to review product designs by evaluating CAD designs and engineering drawings. 3D & 2D CAD literate (Solidworks etc.) Experienced in problem solving methodology and statistic tools. Lean production mindset and experience GD&T drawing reading is preferred. 6 certification preferred. Excellent interpersonal, and presentation/communication skills.
