[Responsibilities]
- Lead and support the development and implementation of data governance principles, practices and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data quality project planning, solutioning and implementation
- Work with business and IT to define data governance set up (data owner, technical steward) for each of the data needs in his scope of responsibility
- Work with IT and business functions to define process changes allowing capture / structuration of new data
- Oversees the assurance of accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the company's data and systems (with the support of junior data quality manager)
- Support IT in selecting the right tool for data governance
- Coordinate junior data quality manager for dataflow / workflow documentation, KPIs definition, remediation process in relation with data owners and technical stewards
- Act as a public relations specialist for any matters related to data quality: promote the data governance / management change across the organization
- Prioritize quality issues that cannot be addressed with tactical actions (reported by junior data quality managers) and define a strategy for long term data quality improvement
- Build, coach and manage data quality team and lead training sessions for education
- Communicate clear profiles with HR to reinforce the data talents recruitment
[Qualification]
- 4 year experience in leading and managing data related delivery project through all phases of the project lifecycle from strategy definition, scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation
- Experience in leading complex projects requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions (company digital transformation, data lake/data warehouse construction, master data management, organization change)
- Prior project leading experience in IT or group tool implementation
- Prior experiences both in IT and business functions: ability to communicate in both the language of business processes and the language of technology
- Strong Business process acumen and understanding of the interplay with Data Management
- Collaborative communication and ability to exercise diplomacy with other functions to consider priority of their own functions
- Continuous improvement mindset and being forward-thinking and organized
- Good knowledge in data management (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality) and with data governance / quality tools (e.g. Informatica, Collibra)
