KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Cosmetic brands, sales objectives and strategies and provide continuous feedback/input to Coty China management and brand marketing team.
- Communicates brand strategies, objectives, and marketing programs to sales force, distributor, retailors.
- Adapt local trade-plans guidelines per distribution channel. Set clear brand and promotional guidelines to the channels and ensures top quality of execution, sales results and profitability of promotional in-store activities.
- Closely monitor product launches, execution and sell-in /sell-through results and reports as such on a monthly basis.
- Lead promotion activities to deliver annual plan. Monthly analysis and summary on competitors' activities.
- Manage sample ordering and usage plan, stock and BTL spending vs budget.
- Perform customer studies and generate channel specific insights
- Initiate reattainment concept and plan for in-store and 2nd site.
- Work closely with product and CRM team to drive customer engagement
- Define Assortment and perform assortment analytics and optimization (e.g. SKUs to delist/push)
Competencies
- Strong strategic and applied marketing skills required
- Sales ambitious and result driven
- Extensive knowledge of strategic retailers and channel for consumer /beauty industry, including department store, shopping mall, Sephora etc.
- Position requires strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and oral communications, excellent presentation skills, ability to communicate with multiple cultures and at senior levels with retailers, senior and international management.
- Travel to China cities
- Good Communication skill internal and external
- Bachelor degree and above
- At least 5 years' experience in dept. store channel with an enthusiasm for trade marketing
- Prestige cosmetics experience highly regarded.
- Sales ambition & result drive.
- Good in spoken and written English.
