As Senior Public Affairs Manager, you are responsible for:
Strategy & Implementation
- As Senior Public Affairs Manager for North Region, you contribute meaningfully by monitoring, prioritizing, initiating and executing appropriate public affairs strategies aligned with regional business goals and global PA approach. You ensure strategies and positions are internally aligned, both regionally and globally, and appropriate to external stakeholder landscape and dynamics
- You build strong relationships with key stake holders through collaboration and communication
- You are passionate about the impact of public affairs, to improve the perception of the company, deepen credibility and enhance influence
- Scenario planning: You monitor emerging risk and develop contingency plans. You are dedicated to policy research, studies and translates latest policies into business implications
- Facilitate, co - create and execute regional public affairs strategy (focus on main important cities within north region)
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Be the point of contact between global and our region and local teams
- Engage effectively and work in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders including central and local government ministries, department leads, policy makers, NGOs, industry related associations, etc. to build strategic relationships and to develop social impact initiatives, influence standards, communicate company stance and seeking guidance
- Monitor the public and political discussions and the industry's trends in the region and understand how our work ladders up to them or vice-versa
- You oversee external agency relationships with strategic communications, lobbying or public affairs firm
- Build and maintain positive, fruitful relationships with local government bodies and public institutions to support smooth daily business operation
- Link broader business operational goals in that region to local government priorities
- Trouble shooting local problems effectively and reasonably within that region
- Collaborate and coordinate with regional and area team
- Coordinating visits and right-level meetings locally to the government, as well as providing advice on conducting local joint activities/events with public institutions
- Support head of PA manager in providing policy updates and analysis
Lead & Develop
- You lead and develop the Public Affairs function to meaningful growth
- You are a spokesperson for H&M Group Public Affairs within the region
- You work through ambiguity, in a challenging sector and demonstrate leadership and analytical skills as well as impact through clear actions
- You take responsibility, engage, and inspire as a natural agile leader
职位要求
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in Political Science, Law, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years' policy and public affairs, government relations background and experience, retail, FMCG, cosmetics or NGO related background is preferred
- A proven track record of running successful public affairs campaigns and negotiations, achieving results in challenging situations
- Excellent English and Chinese verbal & written communication skills, both internally cross-functionally and externally with stakeholders, being well-versed in political language, signals, and influence
- Excellent at weighing different interests and adapting messages to different audiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task on multiple projects/events at one time
- Ability to stay calm in high pressure situations
- A passion for strategic and analytical thinking, and diplomatic skills
- An active network with foreign executives and a good understanding MNC business culture
- Ability to face crisis and excellent in crisis management
- Excellent project management/organization skills, combined with the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously working under pressure and delivering within tight deadlines. Strong analytical skills with ability to craft complex technical data into simple, relevant and meaningful influence strategies, able to articulate a public policy agenda
