Job Description

We are looking for a E-commerce Manager China who is to secure that & Other Stories's China online business in all channels. To execute on the global strategy to drive profitable online channel growth and constantly look for potential to increase the selling. This entails all aspects of the E-Commerce business including customer offer and brand experience, commercial calendar, sales, digital platform, and digital development.

This position is based in Shanghai, China within our Sales function, and reports to our Omni Sales Manager China.

You encourage and contribute to the shared responsibility of creating and protecting an inclusive and welcoming workplace where everyone is allowed to self-identify.

Planning & Execution

  • Execute on the global strategy to drive profitable online channel growth and constantly look for potential to increase selling.
  • According to product and marketing focuses, plan regular site refreshes, seasonal campaigns and event on all of our online channels including but not limited to MP,DouYin and Tmall. Ensure site delivery including but not limited to site content, visual communication on product, etc.
  • Participate in interaction and communication with cross functions and key stakeholders (Merchandising, Retail, Finance, Marketing) from local to global, on weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually Sales & Marketing plans and daily operation improvement.
  • Setting and improving Standard of Practice of all online channels' operation needs and the way of working with the other stakeholders.
Selling & Customer Analysis

  • Understand the online customer's expectation through behavior & data analysis, On-going analysis of channel sales, site performance and online campaign.
  • Evaluate the performance of KPI like UV, conversion, PPO and return rate to improve sales performance and increase profit.
Vendors Management

  • Keep evolving operational way of working, and guide agency's operation strategy, plans and execution in terms of activity planning, customer service and logistic delivery.
  • Monitor TP or other vendor's daily operation to ensure the brand equity and business target are well addressed.
Customer Service & Experience:

  • Responsible for deep-dive check and improvement on customer service. Before and After sales SOP optimization and special case operation.
  • Monitor E-Commerce trends, interesting initiatives and competitors. Keep brining fresh ideas and look for opportunities to drive business by improving the site experience to customers.
  • Involve and follow up online usability improvement and new projects, including business requirement analysis, new functions development, etc

  • Ecommerce revenue and growth
  • Ecommerce profitability
  • Ecommerce KPI's - traffic, conversion %, UPT, ASP, platform ratings etc.
  • Online user experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline;
  • 5+ years of experience within E-Commerce and digital, preferable within fashion with an omnichannel mindset;
  • A broad business and digital background with experience in digital development and sales optimization;
  • Proven results of increasing online sales;
  • Strong analytical and strategical skills, as well as hands on and always finding ways to move forward through engaging and inspiring the team and stakeholders;
  • Commercial as well as strategic mindset and understanding of forward planning and creative solutions;
  • A strong leader who focuses on team development and prioritizes personal development;
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal & written);
  • Ability to work independently;
  • A team player with high engagement cross functionally and live our values;
  • Strong brand ambassador.
