WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
*
As the Studio Management & Production Director across Great China geography, based in Shanghai Brand Creative Studio, the role will be required to deliver industry leading creative production work and manage the creative studio resource and operation that aligns with our Brand Management Consumer Construct Marketing offense, Consumer Direct Marketing offense and Brand Creative functional goals for both Nike and the Jordan Brand within our GEO.

You will be responsible for production & operations across the full Nike and Jordan marketplace in GC also working closely in partnership with the city studios operation managers and producers. You will report directly into the Sr Director, Brand Creative GC. You will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end production process against our creative Offense. You will be expected to support the Brand Creative Leadership Team with operational and production excellence to create the future of storytelling through clear and consistent vision and priorities, and will own and drive the critical meetings, Weekly Staff, Wall session reviews & LT Offsites, to ensure that we run a robust creative & production pipeline across all the Nike channels and across the entire team. You will be responsible for the Studio Management team in GC that works across the GEO, and you will be responsible to also drive functional excellence through the production teams that work across the Brand Management Creative squad and Consumer Direct Marketing Creative squad. You are well verse in external creative industry network and partnership, also an experienced people manager and have the ability to coach multiple creatives and create opportunities for individual development, performance management, recognition and rewards. Fostering and leading innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will play a critical role in developing & producing work that is a mix of origination for specific China specific projects and extensions or adaptation against Global directives. This work will also oversee execution into our full marketplace channels, making sure that we are working across sustainable solutions that hit the right timings and on budget. Your production & operation experiences should have touched a mix of many disciplines, from art direction & graphic design, narrative & storytelling, experiential, retail and events-based work to product styling, film and moving image, across physical & digital channels with a strong process, resource and capacity management that drives the work. You will be responsible for helping to organize & bring in external multi-disciplinary squads of art directors, designers, narrators, writers and producers to execute end-to-end creative across our digital and physical channels. You will also have direct responsibility towards supporting current Livestream/production studio.

With clear focus on the annual brand and consumer direct map, you will work closely in partnership with brand planning and the creative LT. You work with the team to plan the pipeline to ensure the team executes and delivers against the right business priorities. As leaders, you are diverse in thought and well connected to the outside world. You drive the team with energy and always lead by example. You must strive under pressure but be positively and emotionally engaged at all times. Considering this, you need to be extremely well versed in matrix navigation, multiple stakeholder management, and be able to undertake enterprise thinking. You will help lead many different squads on a daily basis and have the ability to jump across many varied projects while maintain good communication and planning across all of them, setting the teams up for success. For you, an obsession with the production and operational excellence of the teams and how we pivot our offence when and wherever needed is always at the forefront of your daily strategic thinking, with the consumer end in mind.

You will be expected to deliver high quality solutions at every stage of the creative process. Executional excellence and the knowledge to drive this forward is a must.

You will need to be able to communicate operational concepts to various internal and external audiences. You'll manage processes to ensure creative deliverables and timelines are met. In addition, you'll provide ideas that influence, increase and enhance Nike Brand Creative organization and initiate and drive "best practices".

You will align the shape of season identifying gaps and opportunities to serve the consumer in a better and more personal way, and at the same time maximize the business opportunities. You will work closely with all of the producers to deliver well-crafted and/or innovative solutions across every size of project.

You will drive operational excellence and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that the team deliver full & holistic creative against the seasonal strategy.

Your team will partner up closely with all creative teams within the organization but will also include building strong relationships with the brand planning team to seek and build strategic focus and alignment and future planning. You will partner with all of the other marketing functions and creative leadership to help define the work priorities, stories and strategies, to bring clarity to the creative teams, and work closely with the VP, Creative Director to align on all Global, Geo & City teams and projects across the entire Nike creative organization.

The shape of your day-to-day leadership will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. But at all times it must be collaborative and intuitive, seeking new and innovative ways to maximize the effectiveness of individual as well as collective thinking. You must multiply the opinions and expertise of those you engage with in order to apply coherent strategy and thinking that leads to new opportunities. You will also develop a robust review timeline with the brand creative senior team leadership. You will partner closely with the production and operation teams to ensure that the creative is delivered on time and to the level of quality expected at Nike.

* Crucial to have consumer brand experienc and network in creative disciplines and creative operations.
* Knowledge and sensitivity to creative trends in fashion/athletics specifically.
* Ability to travel when need.
* You will have at least a strong foundation of technical knowledge when it comes to digital and innovative brand practices.
* You will be analytically adept, but at the same time be able to distil the most complex situations down in a way that allows you to showcase your thinking in creative ways
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the passion to develop and coach a team
* Experience of collaborating effectively with other functions, departments and external stakeholders - the ability to embrace when not directly owning key workstreams and process.
* Passion for reinventing the way we approach traditional ways of working. Not scared to challenge the past and in doing so push new creative ways of thinking and working
* Great sense of judgment and decision-making. Emotionally intelligent with a growth mindset
* Strong verbal and written communication in English & relationship management skills - the ability to work with EMEA/Global leadership team within Nike Direct & Our Consumer Construct marketing teams
* Experience working in and passionate about sport, the sports lifestyle and the culture around it
* Strong in numbers and capacity management.
* Knowledge in Creative Asset Management.
