This role will work closely with Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to build, strengthen and grow the Aveda brand in the APAC Region. The role will support to drive product marketing and consumer engagement initiatives in the region to increase awareness, recruit/retain guests and drive conversion and transaction. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Product marketing/Innovation support: Support setting the region for growth by preparing optimum marketing calendar, new product pipeline as well as launch material such as product fact sheet, Q&A, launch deck and providing any support for countries and being liaison to the Global team. Work on various regional product marketing projects including forecasting, pricing, SKU management as well as other operational marketing tasks Development and Execution of media strategy: Works closely with all APAC markets, Regional marketing, Global Communications, Regional Corporate Online, and Regional Corporate CRM to develop and execute media strategy (i.e. digital marketing, social media, advertising, CRM, and e/m-commerce) adapted to each market. Local Relevance: Drive the development of locally relevant digital content by collaborating with markets and Global Social and Creative teams. Provides Regional context to the brand's Global Communications team for ideation, future planning and collaboration. Project Management: Manages and tracks timelines and key project milestones for APAC social media projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and markets, regional marketing, global communications and regional corporate online are on track. Social Media: Help to streamline and improve efficiency of our current social media content calendar process to dramatically improve our digital agility and speed-to-market. Working in partnership with the global brand on locally relevant strategies as required. Provides direction & focus on platforms of greatest opportunity by market. Oversees content approval that encourage action and advocacy. Measurement and Analytics: Develops measurement and analysis guidelines, giving framework for success based on consumer metrics. Ensures competitive reporting and analysis is being utilized by the Brand consistently. Partners with Corporate Marketing on Earned Media Value strategy and analytics, leveraging insights to make marketing spend more effective and efficient. Subject matter expertise and coaching: Provides ongoing education on advances in the digital space to ensure relevant skill sets at the Affiliate level. Regular sharing of best practices and key-learning among markets to help elevate the level of executions.
Skills & Requirements: University Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field At least 5 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the domestic market consumer engagement role Fluent in English with excellent communications skills written and oral Cantonese & Mandarin is highly desirable. Ability to speak other local languages such as Japan or Korean would be advantageous. Experience working as a product marketing/consumer engagement in a domestic marketing role, experience of managing digital marketing, communication and social media platforms for Brands will be a plus Ability to organize complex tasks and prioritize Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong creative and luxury brand focus. Understanding of consumer engagement with a real appreciation of the brand's positioning, creative and equity. This person will act as the brand guardian and need to have a balance between equity and commerciality. Team player with good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management. The candidate needs to have the confidence to approve, push back and amend content. Self-starter and independent Ability to build and maintain meaningful collaborative relationships with Global, Regional and Affiliate colleagues will be key to success.
